# HERide vs MyGCO

The clearest difference is rating: HERide at 4.0 against MyGCO's 3.0. HERide also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (388 vs 2). MyGCO's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 44%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HERide holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HERide has 388 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of HERide's written reviews are positive against 56% of MyGCO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HERide ships an update every 5 weeks, MyGCO every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
