# Sarotis vs Smart NFC Tools

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sarotis at 79% against Smart NFC Tools's 30%. Sarotis also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Smart NFC Tools's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (478 vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sarotis sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Smart NFC Tools sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smart NFC Tools holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart NFC Tools has 478 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Sarotis's written reviews are positive against 30% of Smart NFC Tools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sarotis ships an update every 4 weeks, Smart NFC Tools weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
