# Captain Logbook vs TheProPilotApp

The clearest difference is update cadence: TheProPilotApp at fortnightly against Captain Logbook's every 2 months. Captain Logbook's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Captain Logbook sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and TheProPilotApp sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
