# TelloMe vs Map Pilot Pro

The clearest difference is price: Map Pilot Pro at Free against TelloMe's $5.99. Map Pilot Pro also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (254 vs 14). TelloMe's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Map Pilot Pro is free to download; TelloMe costs $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Map Pilot Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Map Pilot Pro has 254 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of TelloMe's written reviews are positive against 65% of Map Pilot Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TelloMe ships an update every 5 days, Map Pilot Pro every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
