# eSense Client vs e

The clearest difference is update cadence: e at every 2 months against eSense Client's every 34 months. eSense Client's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

eSense Client ships an update every 34 months, e every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
