# Apple Worm vs Twixos

Apple Worm and Twixos both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 44% of Apple Worm's written reviews are positive against 0% of Twixos's. Apple Worm also leads on ratings volume (426 vs 15). Twixos's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Apple Worm sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Twixos sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.1 for Apple Worm against 4.0 for Twixos. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Apple Worm has 426 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 44% of Apple Worm's written reviews are positive against 0% of Twixos's.

Apple Worm ships an update every 2 months, Twixos every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
