# Danby vs Havaworks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Havaworks at every 3 months against Danby's every 13 months. Danby's advantage is rating (2.4 vs 2.1). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Danby holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 2.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 80 and 64 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Danby's written reviews are positive against 22% of Havaworks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Danby ships an update every 13 months, Havaworks every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
