# Focus Lock vs AppBlock

The clearest difference is ads: Focus Lock at none against AppBlock's shown. AppBlock's advantage is review sentiment (55% vs 23%) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Lock sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and AppBlock sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
