# Focus Lock vs Focus Lock

The clearest difference is rating: Focus Lock at 5.0 against Focus Lock's 4.3. Focus Lock also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). Focus Lock's advantage is ratings volume (290 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Lock sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Focus Lock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Lock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Lock has 290 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Focus Lock ships an update every 2 weeks, Focus Lock every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
