# Focus Lock vs App Blocker

Focus Lock and App Blocker both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 50% of App Blocker's written reviews are positive against 23% of Focus Lock's. App Blocker also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). Focus Lock's advantage is ratings volume (295 vs 4). Both are free to download. Focus Lock sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and App Blocker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Focus Lock against 4.3 for App Blocker.
