# Focus Lock vs Tranquil

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tranquil at 100% against Focus Lock's 23%. Focus Lock's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.3) and ratings volume (295 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Lock sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Tranquil sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Lock holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Lock has 295 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Focus Lock's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tranquil's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
