# Anime Expo Official vs UNION ARENA Tutorial App

The clearest difference is review sentiment: UNION ARENA Tutorial App at 91% against Anime Expo Official's 37%. UNION ARENA Tutorial App also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 12 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.6). Anime Expo Official's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 32). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Anime Expo Official holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Anime Expo Official has 1.1K ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Anime Expo Official's written reviews are positive against 91% of UNION ARENA Tutorial App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Anime Expo Official ships an update every 12 months, UNION ARENA Tutorial App every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
