# Recurrence vs ReDo Loop

Recurrence and ReDo Loop both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ReDo Loop's written reviews are positive against 83% of Recurrence's. ReDo Loop also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Recurrence's advantage is ratings volume (325 vs 15). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Recurrence sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and ReDo Loop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Recurrence against 4.7 for ReDo Loop. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Recurrence has 325 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of Recurrence's written reviews are positive against 100% of ReDo Loop's.

Recurrence ships an update every 3 weeks, ReDo Loop every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
