# Cookie Calculator vs Honeycomb Shared Parenting

The clearest difference is rating: Cookie Calculator at 4.8 against Honeycomb Shared Parenting's 4.3. Cookie Calculator also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (319 vs 43). Honeycomb Shared Parenting's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cookie Calculator sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Honeycomb Shared Parenting asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cookie Calculator holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cookie Calculator has 319 ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Cookie Calculator's written reviews are positive against 86% of Honeycomb Shared Parenting's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cookie Calculator ships an update every 5 days, Honeycomb Shared Parenting fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
