# Switch vs Scantivia

The clearest difference is rating: Scantivia at 5.0 against Switch's 4.6. Switch's advantage is ratings volume (157 vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Switch sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Scantivia sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scantivia holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Switch has 157 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
