# Note Widget + vs iRecord

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Note Widget + at 78% against iRecord's 53%. iRecord's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (8.9K vs 445). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note Widget + sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and iRecord sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iRecord holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iRecord has 8.9K ratings behind it against 445, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Note Widget +'s written reviews are positive against 53% of iRecord's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
