# NutriGeek vs FTN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NutriGeek at 100% against FTN's 56%. NutriGeek also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). FTN's advantage is ratings volume (345 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NutriGeek sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and FTN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NutriGeek holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FTN has 345 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of NutriGeek's written reviews are positive against 56% of FTN's.

NutriGeek ships an update fortnightly, FTN every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
