# PubTV vs WarPoet

The clearest difference is monetization model: PubTV at free with in-app purchases against WarPoet's subscription. WarPoet's advantage is ratings volume (6.8K vs 91). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PubTV sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.00 per month and WarPoet sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for PubTV against 5.0 for WarPoet. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WarPoet has 6.8K ratings behind it against 91, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 96% of PubTV's written reviews are positive against 100% of WarPoet's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
