# PubTV vs NXR+

The clearest difference is update cadence: NXR+ at every 4 days against PubTV's every 3 months. PubTV's advantage is ratings volume (91 vs 10) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PubTV sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.00 per month and NXR+ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for PubTV against 5.0 for NXR+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PubTV has 91 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 96% of PubTV's written reviews are positive against 100% of NXR+'s.

PubTV ships an update every 3 months, NXR+ every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
