# Tough Commerce Operator vs Olight

The clearest difference is rating: Olight at 4.2 against Tough Commerce Operator's 2.3. Olight also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (70 vs 3). Tough Commerce Operator's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Olight holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Olight has 70 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tough Commerce Operator ships an update every 6 weeks, Olight every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
