# Baseball Rules vs UmpTrack

The clearest difference is rating: UmpTrack at 5.0 against Baseball Rules's 4.4. UmpTrack also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). Baseball Rules's advantage is ratings volume (50 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Baseball Rules sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and UmpTrack sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UmpTrack holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baseball Rules has 50 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Baseball Rules ships an update every 2 months, UmpTrack every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
