# 鳳凰秀HD vs HOY

The clearest difference is rating: HOY at 3.6 against 鳳凰秀HD's 2.8. HOY also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 19 months) and device support (3 vs 1). 鳳凰秀HD's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). On price, ratings volume and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HOY sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. 鳳凰秀HD asks for nothing beyond the download.

HOY holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of 鳳凰秀HD's written reviews are positive against 10% of HOY's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

鳳凰秀HD ships an update every 19 months, HOY every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
