# Renogy vs SController2.0

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SController2.0 at 100% against Renogy's 11%. SController2.0 also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks). Renogy's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (806 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Renogy holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Renogy has 806 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Renogy's written reviews are positive against 100% of SController2.0's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Renogy ships an update every 2 weeks, SController2.0 daily. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
