# Slender Threads vs Wheels Dash

The clearest difference is ads: Slender Threads at none against Wheels Dash's shown. Wheels Dash's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slender Threads sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Wheels Dash sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Slender Threads ships an update every 3 weeks, Wheels Dash every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
