# Minute Notes vs VoidNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: VoidNote at every 2 days against Minute Notes's every 40 months. VoidNote also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Minute Notes ships an update every 40 months, VoidNote every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
