# BDFD vs Wind Protector Mobile

The clearest difference is update cadence: Wind Protector Mobile at every 2 days against BDFD's every 2 weeks. Wind Protector Mobile also leads on rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). BDFD's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 58%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BDFD sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Wind Protector Mobile sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wind Protector Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 87 and 112 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of BDFD's written reviews are positive against 58% of Wind Protector Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BDFD ships an update every 2 weeks, Wind Protector Mobile every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
