# Oluna vs Steps Widget

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Oluna at 80% against Steps Widget's 25%. Oluna also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). Steps Widget's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Oluna sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Steps Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Steps Widget holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Steps Widget has 17 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Oluna's written reviews are positive against 25% of Steps Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Oluna ships an update every 10 days, Steps Widget every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
