# Big Clock vs PureClock

The clearest difference is rating: PureClock at 4.6 against Big Clock's 4.0. PureClock also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 68%). Big Clock's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (700 vs 44). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Big Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PureClock sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PureClock holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Big Clock has 700 ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of Big Clock's written reviews are positive against 78% of PureClock's.

Big Clock ships an update every 4 weeks, PureClock fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
