# Res Pilates vs Elasta

The clearest difference is update cadence: Elasta at every 2 days against Res Pilates's every 3 weeks. Res Pilates's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Res Pilates sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.49 per month and Elasta sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.19 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Res Pilates ships an update every 3 weeks, Elasta every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
