# Splitscene vs Bicameral

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bicameral at every 10 days against Splitscene's every 2 months. Splitscene's advantage is iOS requirement (13.2 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splitscene sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bicameral sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Splitscene ships an update every 2 months, Bicameral every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
