# Splitscene vs Screenmi

The clearest difference is update cadence: Screenmi at every 3 weeks against Splitscene's every 2 months. Splitscene's advantage is iOS requirement (13.2 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splitscene sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Screenmi sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Splitscene ships an update every 2 months, Screenmi every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
