# Sticky Terms vs Scrumble

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scrumble at every 2 days against Sticky Terms's every 2 months. Scrumble also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and review sentiment (100% vs 88%). Sticky Terms's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (2.7K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scrumble holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Terms has 2.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of Sticky Terms's written reviews are positive against 100% of Scrumble's.

Sticky Terms ships an update every 2 months, Scrumble every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
