# Bensin vs Vacay

Bensin and Vacay both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Bensin's written reviews are positive against 47% of Vacay's. Bensin also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4). Vacay's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (141 vs 4). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vacay sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Bensin asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Bensin against 4.9 for Vacay. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vacay has 141 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Bensin's written reviews are positive against 47% of Vacay's.

Bensin ships an update every 3 months, Vacay every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
