The clearest difference is review sentiment: Talking Dice Roller 3D at 50% against Dice Roller's 0%. Talking Dice Roller 3D also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Dice Roller's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (46 vs 2). Both are free to download. Talking Dice Roller 3D sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dice Roller sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dice Roller holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dice Roller has 46 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Talking Dice Roller 3D's written reviews are positive against 0% of Dice Roller's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
