# WorkTime vs Working Timer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: WorkTime at 63% against Working Timer's 0%. WorkTime also leads on ratings volume (584 vs 12). Working Timer's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorkTime sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Working Timer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Working Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WorkTime has 584 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of WorkTime's written reviews are positive against 0% of Working Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WorkTime ships an update every 2 weeks, Working Timer every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on September 28, 2026.
