# WorkTime vs Punch in

WorkTime and Punch in both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 95% of Punch in's written reviews are positive against 64% of WorkTime's. WorkTime's advantage is ratings volume (636 vs 20) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorkTime sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Punch in sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for WorkTime against 4.9 for Punch in. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WorkTime has 636 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of WorkTime's written reviews are positive against 95% of Punch in's.

WorkTime ships an update every 2 weeks, Punch in monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
