# WorkTime vs Work Log

The clearest difference is ads: Work Log at none against WorkTime's shown. WorkTime's advantage is ratings volume (620 vs 5) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.2). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorkTime sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Work Log sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for WorkTime against 4.8 for Work Log. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WorkTime has 620 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WorkTime ships an update every 2 weeks, Work Log every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
