# WorkTime vs Gutly

The clearest difference is ads: Gutly at none against WorkTime's shown. Gutly also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). WorkTime's advantage is ratings volume (652 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorkTime sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Gutly sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gutly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WorkTime has 652 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WorkTime ships an update every 2 weeks, Gutly every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
