# Epique Cloud vs SkySlope

Epique Cloud and SkySlope both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Epique Cloud's written reviews are positive against 44% of SkySlope's. Epique Cloud also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). SkySlope's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (1K vs 7). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Epique Cloud holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SkySlope has 1K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Epique Cloud's written reviews are positive against 44% of SkySlope's.

Epique Cloud ships an update every 8 months, SkySlope every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
