# Something Different Grill vs ChickCoDo

Something Different Grill and ChickCoDo both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of Something Different Grill's written reviews are positive against 0% of ChickCoDo's. ChickCoDo's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 31 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ChickCoDo holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Something Different Grill's written reviews are positive against 0% of ChickCoDo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Something Different Grill ships an update every 31 months, ChickCoDo every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
