# Wild Fork vs bylocal

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Wild Fork at 7.4K against bylocal's 4. Wild Fork also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Wild Fork against 5.0 for bylocal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wild Fork has 7.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
