# Wild Fork vs Drift

The clearest difference is monetization model: Wild Fork at free against Drift's free with in-app purchases. Wild Fork also leads on ratings volume (8.4K vs 4). Drift's advantage is chart position (#193 vs unranked) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 11 days). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Wild Fork against 5.0 for Drift. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wild Fork has 8.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wild Fork ships an update every 11 days, Drift every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
