# Epitomize vs Nova

The clearest difference is ads: Epitomize at none against Nova's shown. Epitomize also leads on iOS requirement (11.1 vs 15.0). Nova's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 32 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Epitomize sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Nova sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Epitomize ships an update every 32 months, Nova every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
