# Cursodontic vs Nonsense

The clearest difference is ads: Cursodontic at none against Nonsense's shown. Cursodontic also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). Nonsense's advantage is ratings volume (390 vs 1) and review sentiment (73% vs 60%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cursodontic sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Nonsense sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cursodontic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nonsense has 390 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Cursodontic's written reviews are positive against 73% of Nonsense's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cursodontic ships an update monthly, Nonsense every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
