# GoTemp Pro vs Pre

The clearest difference is rating: Pre at 5.0 against GoTemp Pro's 2.9. Pre also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). GoTemp Pro's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pre holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoTemp Pro has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GoTemp Pro ships an update every 3 months, Pre every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
