# Truevine Online vs Notes

The clearest difference is rating: Notes at 4.8 against Truevine Online's 1.0. Notes also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 59 months) and ratings volume (14 vs 1). Truevine Online's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notes has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Truevine Online ships an update every 59 months, Notes every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
