# CCP Interactive vs SCC ALERT

The clearest difference is update cadence: CCP Interactive at every 4 months against SCC ALERT's every 50 months. CCP Interactive also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.3 vs 13.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for CCP Interactive against 5.0 for SCC ALERT. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CCP Interactive has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CCP Interactive ships an update every 4 months, SCC ALERT every 50 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
