# Sunwarrior vs Zonia

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sunwarrior at none against Zonia's 2. Sunwarrior also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and ratings volume (496 vs 65). Zonia's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 58%) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zonia sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Sunwarrior asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sunwarrior holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sunwarrior has 496 ratings behind it against 65, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Sunwarrior's written reviews are positive against 80% of Zonia's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sunwarrior ships an update every 6 weeks, Zonia every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
