# MyMount vs Modern Campus Involve

The clearest difference is rating: MyMount at 3.7 against Modern Campus Involve's 1.8. Modern Campus Involve's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and review sentiment (14% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyMount holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Modern Campus Involve has 60 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of MyMount's written reviews are positive against 14% of Modern Campus Involve's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyMount ships an update every 6 months, Modern Campus Involve every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
