# Gem Rescue vs Pull the Pin

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pull the Pin at every 2 months against Gem Rescue's every 13 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gem Rescue sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pull the Pin sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gem Rescue ships an update every 13 months, Pull the Pin every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
